Warung Tu Pande
About This Spot
Warung Tu Pande is a quietly inviting local eatery tucked along the road to Crystal Bay, where the rhythm of Nusa Penida slows to a warm, unhurried pace. As you step inside, the soft glow of fairy lights overhead and the gentle presence of friendly dogs immediately make you feel like you’ve found a restful pause from the island’s more crowded corners. There’s a relaxed simplicity here, where the hum of conversation blends with the soft sounds of a familiar kitchen preparing meals fresh to order.
The atmosphere is beautifully unpretentious — cozy and heartfelt. It’s the kind of place where both locals and visitors linger a little longer, drawn by the sincerity of the service and the genuine smiles from the family that runs the warung. Evenings bring a comforting quietness that invites you to settle in, share stories over a home-style meal, and catch those small, memorable human moments that often define travel far beyond the sights.
Eating here is less about ticking off dishes and more about savoring a feast that feels thoughtfully prepared and steeped in local flavor. Vegetarians, seafood lovers, and those simply curious will find a beautiful balance of fresh ingredients and traditional spices — whether it’s the fragrance of sambal matah, the vibrant colors of fresh vegetables, or freshly grilled fish delivered with a simplicity that lets every bite speak for itself. Sharing a meal at Warung Tu Pande often means discovering favorite flavors that linger long after the plate is cleared.
What truly sets this spot apart is its sense of belonging. There’s no rush here, just a gentle invitation to experience Nusa Penida at a human scale — through kind hospitality, honest food, and an atmosphere where you feel not like a guest passing through, but a friend returning again and again.

Great food, authentic vibe, fair prices and lovely owner! We had dinner 3 nights in a row and enjoyed them all. Especially since Nusa Penida has a lot of places that charge tourist prices for less quality, this place is quite the opposite. We recommend 100% especially if you’re looking for good vegetarian food

Lovely local warung! My friends and I came here every night for maybe 5 nights? And it was amazing every time, we didn’t get any photos because we always were to excited to eat! Great prices, delicious meals, and very cute dogs that are super friendly! Amazing service too, the lady that owns the place gave us some free fruit from her garden as a thank you for coming back so many times! Highly recommend the Mie goreng ayam! And the banana pancake with honey! Definitely recommend!!

Best food on Nusa Pineda. Ran by the most lovely, kind and polite family with outstanding food! We ate here 6 times in 4 days, honestly couldn’t get enough. They have 2 lovely dogs who are both friendly so don’t be put off. Wish we took some photos to post but it was so tasty we dived straight in every time we ate! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Warung Tu Pande is a lovely little local spot on the way to Crystal Bay . I had the mie goreng ayam seafood and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, well-seasoned, and generously served. Prices are super fair and the whole experience feels very local and authentic ????????. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Perfect place to stop for a tasty meal before or after the beach .

A very cozy warung with a relaxed, local vibe! The fish is incredibly fresh—so fresh, in fact, that some dishes weren’t available that day because the owner explained they hadn’t caught them. You can really taste the difference. It’s a great stop if you’re passing by on a scooter or just looking for a quiet spot to chill and enjoy authentic Balinese food. Friendly service, honest cooking, and a peaceful atmosphere—definitely worth a visit!

It's what you shoudl expect from a Warung in bali. It is a nice small establishment which has kind hosts who took care of our request to make curries spicy. It was nice, hot and very tasty. Curries are served with a side of rice. I tried iced tea as well and it was good. Would recommend if you are trying to eat something local

Lovely service. Homely meals. Cold beers. Super friendly dogs (a little too friendly for me, but I'm not a dog person ) don't forget your mozzie spray in the evening.
